Apply for Funding

Before applying for funding, please first read Which Grant is Right For Me?

Please note: Before starting your application, please ensure your project is eligible for funding. Morvern Community Trust only provides grants for projects that directly benefit the Morvern area and its communities. Projects taking place outside of Morvern are not eligible for funding. We ask for documentation to support almost all funding applications, so before you start your application, please prepare as much information as possible regarding your project’s financial projections, costs, aims, risks, and anticipated benefits. If you’re applying for funding to pay for a service or purchase assets or equipment, you’ll also need to provide two quotations wherever possible. Please also explain how any assets will be insured and who will be responsible for their storage and ongoing maintenance. Group and business applications must provide evidence of their current financial standing, along with a copy of their Constitution or Articles of Association. Supporting documents must be signed by two members of your committee or board. Please note that only one grant application may be submitted per organisation or applicant each year.

Our two most popular grant applications are the Annual Student Bursary and our Small Grant Application. You can now apply for these grants using an online form!

To be responsive to unexpected financial crises which make permanent living in Morvern unexpectedly challenging, we have also prioritised creating an accessible application process for our Crisis Grant.

All other grants must still be applied for by emailing the appropriate grant application form to us, which you’ll find via the links below. We hope to have all of our applications converted to more user-friendly forms on this site by the end of March 2026. Thank you for your patience while we make this important transition.
