Morvern Community Trust meets every quarter to discuss the Trust’s organisation, our financial status and current funding applications. In 2025 and early 2026, we introduced a new workflow system and this website to our processes for funding applications. MCT Trustees can stay in role for a maximum of ten consecutive years. We have a maximum limit of eight Trustees and a minimum of five. All Trustees and Office-Bearers live in Morvern. Working with MCT is a voluntary role; our Clerk is the only paid role. If you are interested in volunteering with MCT as a Trustee when we next have a vacancy, please drop us a line and share any background info you think may be helpful. keith adams, chairperson
I was Head Teacher at Lochaline primary school until 2022. I am a member of the local fire crew. I have been involved with Morvern Community Trust for many years, in many different roles. I have enjoyed seeing the positive effects the Trust has had in all the communities of Morvern over the years. I enjoy working in my garden and walking the dog.

david campbell, treasurer
David moved to Morvern in 2009 after returning from overseas. He worked part time from home until 2022 when he retired. David has served as secretary of Drimnin Village Hall and as a Director of Drimnin Sealink. He was a founding Director of Drimnin Community Broadband, whose start-up in 2018 was supported by the Trust. He joined Morvern Community Trust in 2019 and acts as Treasurer. David claims to enjoy swimming in the balmy waters of the Sound of Mull.

rhian evans, trustee
I’ve lived in Lochaline since 2016, when I worked as a self-employed ornithologist. I became an active member of the local retained fire crew and HM Coastguard. I now work for the fire service full-time, and this allows me the privilege of living in this beautiful community! In my free time, I enjoy adventuring with my dog, running, climbing and wild swimming. I’ve been an MCT Trustee since 2023 and I love being able to support exciting and innovative opportunities that help our community thrive.

Beth Revill, Trustee
I’ve been living & working in Lochaline for the past three years. I’m a teacher in the primary school and have been teaching for a total of seven years now. I moved to Lochaline from Glasgow with my husband, Bradley, and our French Bulldog, Guido. We made the change as we love the outdoors and wanted to experience life closer to nature in the Scottish Highlands. We love the change in pace and being part of a close-knit community. I enjoy being part of MCT as I feel that the trust can positively impact local people’s lives.

james rottger, trustee
I have been living in Morvern since 2020, having regularly visited family in the area since 2014. I am a professional actor and voiceover artist working across TV, film, radio, theatre, audiobooks, advertising and corporate role-play. My job has taken me to all sorts of interesting places, but none are as special as Morvern. Outside of work, I enjoy rowing our community skiff, DIY (if you know, you know!) and watching more sport than I should (while not playing as much as I’d like). I joined MCT as a Trustee in 2024 and relish the opportunity the Trust gives me to support people and organisations doing good things in our community.
